Our kennel of working, short-coated Weimaraners „Zwinger von der Salzachau“ is located in Bavaria, not so far from Munich.
We only breed with dogs that are listed in the German register of working dogs.

Our bitch, Aira vom Dörgener Land, is VGP tested.
She is a very friendly dog and, as a typical Weimaraner very people-oriented and good with children. She has a very strong desire to work and to live with her owners. She is excellent in hunting, tracking, pointing and retrieving, both on land and in the water. Our breeding aims are healthy, robust dogs as well as dogs with a friendly character.

The puppies will grow up in our house, so they are getting used to everyday situations in house and outside. They will meet other dogs and children of all ages. The puppies will get into contact with several kind of game, we will introduce them to food and blood tracks and we put an emphasis on swimming, because they will grow up in the best season for swimming.

All puppies will be given to active hunters only and we don´t want them to be put in an outer bailey!
